Taiyuan Tongxiang Magnesium Co. Ltd

Taiyuan Tongxiang Magnesium Co.Ltd, founded in 1995, is the largest primary magnesium producer worldwide, with the capacity of 150kt of primary magnesium and 60kt of magnesium alloy. It possesses 28 workshops and employs 7500 workers and staff. The year 2008 saw 120kt of magnesium ingot, , and 30kt of magnesium alloy. Technical update and co-opearation with domestic R & D institutes, since 2001, have facilitated its magnesium smelting process and equipment, with environmentally friendly level and efficient productivity.

Subordinate to Taiyuan Tongxiang Magnesium Co. Ltd, Taiyuan Yuejin Magnesium Industry Co. Ltd mainly orients its target at the production of magnesium alloy profile (with capacity of 6kt), die-casting (1.2kt), magnesium alloy radiators(over 3 mln. pieces). As the largest magnesium extrusion producer worldwide, it possesses modern facilities related to magnesium melting, extrusion, casting, radiator and surface treatment. With over 50 specifications, its products cover 3 series, i.e. magnesium alloy, steel-magnesium, and copper-magnesium, supported by advanced test and measurement sets. It, too, engages in the R & D of magnesium alloy, and tries its best to be the benchmark of magnesium alloy fabrication.
