Shenweichen, Party Committee Secretary of  Taiyuan met

In 25th February, Mr Shenweichen, party committee secretary of Taiyuan invited and had dinner with Mr Greg Patzer, vice-president of IMA who hosted the Taiyuan Press conference on the same day.Mr Greg patzer presented a short report to Shen of what has been done for the conference, expressed his appreciation to the support by Taiyuan government. He also showed expectations and willingnessto support the development of Taiyuan Magnesium industry
During the meeting, Secretary Shen showed the believe in the recovery of economic. Although there are still difficulties for the industry, energy reduction and effiecient usage of resources willl be the long-lasting theme. There are still enough space for the development of resourcing industry. He warmly welcome the upcoming IMA conference and hoped to have more coorperations in Magnesium area. He mentioned that Taiyuan is going to make the plan of building a CITY OF MAGNESIUM into practice by setting up a special development bureau which shall be in charge of the related work in Magnesium industry.
Both sides was in a discussion of singing a coorperation framework agreement to promote the coorperation process.
JiHePing , chairman of Taiyuan People’s Political Consultative, Wangjiansheng , vice Mayor of Taiyuan, Chenxiangyang ,chairman of Commission for Economic & Trade, and vice chairman, LiuYuanliang, GuoJiDong, Asia representative of IMA., and Dongchunming, president of Sunlight Metal, also attended the event.
